Kuth Ranieri Architects was co-founded by Byron Kuth, FAIA, and Elizabeth Ranieri, FAIA in 1990. The research-based practice has earned a national reputation for innovative works of architecture that integrate a human-centric design approach with environmental stewardship, advanced building technologies, and regionally acute craft.

The team of sixteen collaborates across their east and west coast offices on a range of diverse design and planning scales including the architecture of public parks, residences, adaptive reuse of historic structures, recreation facilities, cultural centers, educational facilities, airport terminals, and transportation infrastructure.

KR has maintained a robust research arm since its founding, including projects focused on sea level rise, Post-pandemic revitalization of downtown districts and inclusivity of public spaces. The Firm has been recognized by the Architectural League’s Young Architects and Emerging Voices Awards, Architectural Record’s New Vanguard, and AIA Awards (federal, state and regional and have designed installations for galleries, institutions and museums).
